Munakata M, et al. - This study assessed the modification of urinary albumin excretion (UAE) as a risk factor for incident hypertension by glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in the Japanese population. Findings suggested a large dependence of UAE, as a risk factor for incident hypertension, on estimated GFR (eGFR) levels.
