Avci E, et al. - An exploration was performed of the tie-up between the serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) level and red cell distribution width (RDW) in subjects with coronary artery disease (CAD). Data shed light on an inverse and gradual correlation between the serum HDL-C level and RDW. Furthermore, it was determined that serum HDL-C level presented as an independent predictor for the RDW.
