Relationship between fatigue and inflammation, disease duration, and chronic pain in psoriatic arthritis: An observational DANBIO registry study
The Journal of Rheumatology Apr 06, 2020
Skougaard M, Jorgensen TS, Rifbjerg-Madsen S, et al. - This study was intended to present the degree of fatigue in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and to examine important components associated with fatigue. Researchers conducted a cross-sectional survey recruiting individuals registered in the Danish nationwide registry DANBIO between December 2013 and June 2014. Using principal component analysis, factors associated with fatigue were distinguished. This study enrolled a sum of 1,062 individuals with PsA. Fatigue in patients with PsA, in the absence of inflammation may be driven by clinical inflammatory factors, disease duration, and chronic pain.
