Nakamura T, et al. - This prospective observational study aimed to investigate the relationship between depressive symptoms and future activities of daily living (ADL) dependence and to examine how this association varies according to living circumstances and marital status. The clinicians proposed that depressive symptoms were correlated with future ADL dependence and that living circumstances (except for institutionalization) and marital status did not affect the association.
