Mito Y, et al. - The purpose of this study was to inspect the tie-up between urinary dysfunction with motor symptoms and nigrostriatal neuron loss in drug-naïve patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Data illustrated that urinary dysfunction in untreated PD correlated with an increase in motor symptoms (especially bradykinesia and axial symptoms) and reduction of striatal dopamine transporter (DAT) availability.
