Relation of coronary flow reserve to other findings on positron emission tomography myocardial perfusion imaging and left heart catheterization in patients with end stage renal disease being evaluated for kidney transplant
The American Journal of Cardiology Sep 05, 2017
Paz Y, et al. – This study aimed to evaluate relation of coronary flow reserve (CFR) to other findings on positron emission tomography myocardial perfusion imaging (PET MPI) and left heart catheterization in patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) being evaluated for kidney transplant. This was the first prospective study of PET MPI in ESRD patients. Here, abnormal CFR was highly prevalent and was independent of abnormal findings on PET MPI or obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD) on left heart catheterization.
