Patel Y, et al. - The association of initial blood pressure with markers of pericardial effusion severity was investigated in patients with moderate and large pericardial effusion. In this work, the patients showed no significant association between systolic and diastolic blood pressure recordings upon initial presentation and markers of effusion severity or the need for drainage.
