Regulatory NK cells mediated between immunosuppressive monocytes and dysfunctional T cells in chronic HBV infection

Li H, et al. - The effects of HBV on monocytes and natural killer (NK) cells were investigated in this study. An immunosuppressive cascade was determined, in which HBV generated the suppressive monocytes and initiated regulatory NK cells differentiation, causing T cell inhibition.
