Regular physical activity and mammographic density: A cohort study

Azam S, et al. - Researchers examined the connection between regular physical activity with mammographic density for the first time in a study sample of 5,703 women (premenopausal, n=1,202; postmenopausal, n=4,501) aged >50 years who participated in the Danish Diet, Cancer and Health (DCH) cohort. Study participants partook in DCH cohort between 1993 and 1997 and attended the Copenhagen mammography screening program between 1993 and 2001. Results showed no evidence of an association between physical activity and mammographic density.
