Kuo W, et al. - The clinicians performed this work to obtain normative data on central airway dimensions on chest CT scans in the pediatric population. In this study, they determined the normative data for the central airways of children and adolescents. Findings revealed that central airway dimensions depended on distance from the carina and on intrathoracic tracheal length.
