Xu J, et al. - This study investigated whether altered trophoblast CD200 and CD200R expressions promote inflammatory cytokine production in preeclamptic placentas. Findings suggested an imbalance of increased Th1 cytokine and reduced Th2 cytokine production in placental trophoblasts in preeclampsia, as a consequence of downregulation of CD200 expression.
