Jiang J, et al. - A comparative scrutiny was performed of the accuracy between rectal water contrast transvaginal ultrasound (RWC-TVS) and double-contrast barium enema (DCBE) in investigating the presence and extent of the bowel endometriosis. Similar accuracies were exhibited by RWC-TVS and DCBE, in the diagnosis of bowel endometriosis. The patients, nevertheless, illustrated greater tolerance for RWC-TVS than those with DCBE.
