Yang JD, et al. – The researchers assessed the recent trends of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) epidemiology in Olmsted County, MN. In Olmsted County, the incidence of HCC remained stable after 2010. While there was a trend of decreasing proportion of hepatitis C virus–induced HCC, the proportion of hepatitis B virus–induced HCC increased. In community residents with HCC, the overall survival remained poor.
