In 10 nations, there was a substantial increase trend in the prevalence of overweight and obesity, while in 2 countries, there was a significant decrease trend.
In the first and final surveys, the combined prevalence of overweight and obesity was 24.8% and 27.7%, respectively.
The prevalence of overweight and obesity increased significantly across 21 countries, indicating a significant upward trend.
The prevalence of overweight and obesity has been increasing in high-, upper-middle-, and lower-middle-income countries.
