Tadrous M, et al. - Costs and efficacy of omalizumab were compared between users and nonusers with severe asthma. Findings revealed increased costs in association with omalizumab therapy, however, no associated lower rates of clinically important outcomes were evident among users. Notably, omalizumab had limited effectiveness in this study population.
