Sharma K, et al. – The purposes of this study were to perform real–time PCR (qPCR) using rpoB, mpb64 and IS6110 gene on a variety of extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) samples as well as to compare the performance of different gene targets. The findings suggested that the HRM analysis could play a promising role in the reliable and rapid screening of EPTB samples for detection of multidrug resistance (MDR).
