Carneiro C, et al. – The target of this study was to analyze the risk for serious infection (SI) in psoriasis patients exposed to systemic biologic or nonbiologic agents. The SI rate for biologic and nonbiologic systemic agents was reported to be clinically indistinguishable. This, in turn, supported the consideration of the entire spectrum of available systemic therapeutic agents, both biologic and nonbiologic agents, for the management of moderate to severe psoriasis.
