Randomized trial to assess the efficacy and safety of beclomethasone dipropionate breath-actuated inhaler in patients with asthma
Allergy and Asthma Proceedings Mar 08, 2018
Ostrom NK, et al. - Researchers assessed the efficacy and safety of beclomethasone dipropionate (BDP) administered via breath-actuated inhalers (BAI) in patients with asthma. Compared with placebo, significant improvements in pulmonary function were noted with BDP BAI. The results afforded by BDP BAI were found to be similar to those of BDP metered-dose inhalers (MDI). Furthermore, safety profile of BDP BAI was comparable to BDP MDI, with no new safety signals.
