Randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial of clobetasol propionate 0.05% in the treatment of oral lichen planus

Arduino PG, et al. - The authors aimed to investigate the efficacy of using clobetasol propionate 0.05% in the treatment of symptomatic oral lichen planus (OLP). To improve symptoms in subjects affected by atrophic erosive oral lesions, clobetasol at this dosage was found to be more effective than placebo.
