Collados-Gomez L, et al. - Researchers comparatively scrutinized the analgesic effects of expressed breast milk and 24% oral sucrose on the preterm neonates during venipuncture. The findings unveiled that the expressed breast milk and 24% sucrose illustrated the same analgesic effect during venipuncture in maximum preterm neonates. However, sucrose worked better in extremely preterm infants.
