Balachandran B, et al. - Researchers intended to compare using early oral diazoxide or a placebo for small for gestational age (SGA) neonates with hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia (HH). With no apparent adverse effects, using oral diazoxide for SGA neonates with HH provided early hypoglycaemic control.
