Radiomic features from pretreatment biparametric MRI predict prostate cancer biochemical recurrence: Preliminary findings
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging May 25, 2018
Shiradkar R, et al. - Researchers identified a set of radiomic features derived from pretreatment biparametric MRI (bpMRI) that may be predictive of prostate cancer (PCa) biochemical recurrence (BCR). Participants were one hundred twenty PCa patients from two institutions, I1 and I2, partitioned into training set D1 (N = 70) from I1 and independent validation set D2 (N = 50) from I2. Results of this study suggested that radiomic features from pretreatment bpMRI could be predictive of PCa BCR after therapy and might help identify men who would benefit from adjuvant therapy.
