Radiological classification of multiple lung cancers and the prognostic impact based on the presence of a ground glass opacity component on thin-section computed tomography

Lung Cancer Sep 07, 2017

Hattori A, et al. – The prognostic impact of multiple lung cancers based on the radiologic classifications concluded from findings on thin–section computed tomography was gauged in this study. An association was observed between pure–solid (PS)+PS group and poor survival, among multiple lung cancers. It would contribute to the upstaging of T descriptors. This study suggested the extreme importance of the presence of ground glass opacity (GGO) when considering the correlation between the radiological classification of multiple lung cancers and its prognosis.
