Goldstone RN, et al. - Researchers performed a single center study in HIV+ participants focussing on radiofrequency ablation (RFA) therapy for anal intraepithelial neoplasia. As per findings, circumferential anal squamocolumnar junction RFA produced total high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions eradication with no more than 2 treatments. In these participants, circumferential RFA seemed to be well tolerated with minimal pain and no serious adverse events.
