Doo DW, et al. - This study was performed to assess the effects of radical primary cytoreduction in the treatment of ovarian carcinosarcoma on progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). As per findings, degree of surgical cytoreduction seemed to have a correlation with PFS and OS. For the upfront surgical treatment of ovarian carcinosarcoma, researchers recommended radical surgery resulting in no visible disease.
