Arthritis Care & Research Sep 09, 2021
Williams JN, Xu C, Costenbader KH, et al. - Investigation of the existence of racial disparities in contraception encounters and dispensing among US Medicaid-insured women with SLE was conducted.
A total of 24,693 reproductive-age women with SLE were identified.
Of these women, 43% were African American, 35% White, 15% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 2% other race, and 1% American Indian/Alaska Native.
