Zhang Y, et al. - In this study, experts sought to examine the magnetic susceptibility of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) as a quantitative measurement for monitoring treatment in hematoma patients. As compared with CT, quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) in hematoma assessment offered a comparably accurate volume measurement. However, susceptibility measurements could enable improved monitoring of ICH treatment compared to volume measurements alone.
