Journal of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Sep 16, 2017
Wickett RR, et al. - This trial entailed the quantification of the effects of several moisturizers on the hydration of stratum corneum by estimating their impact on electrical conductance over a 24-hour period. The findings displayed that moisturizers constituting high levels of glycerin could yield a measurable moisturization benefit, which was identified via the skin conductance for at least 24 hours after a single application.
