Quantifying the prognostic significance of microRNA-17/17-5P in cancers: A meta-analysis based on published studies

Cancer Management and Research Jul 27, 2018

Duan F, et al. - A comprehensive search was conducted on published literature to examine the predictive value of mircoRNA-17 and mircoRNA-17-5P (miR-17/17-5P) in patients with cancer. In patients with cancer, high expression of miR-17 and miR-17-5P were significantly correlated with poor survival. Findings revealed that miR-17-5P expression was significantly associated with disease-free survival (DFS) in cancer patients. Results of this study suggested that miR-17/17-5P could be a novel predictor in cancer.
