Quality of life, functional status and adhesiolysis during elective abdominal surgery

Strik C, et al. – This work was meant to assess the impact of adhesiolysis and adhesiolysis–related complications on quality of life and functional status following elective abdominal surgery. As per observations, adhesiolysis in itself did not affect functional status and quality of life six months after surgery. Lower health status seemed associated with postoperative complications, readmissions and chronic abdominal pain.
