Svedbom A, et al. - This study provides information regarding quality of life (QoL) impact of fracture using data from the International Costs and Utilities Related to Osteoporotic fractures Study (ICUROS). A substantial loss in QoL was noted in the hip, vertebral, and distal forearm fractures. In addition, markedly impaired QoL, for at least 18 months, was reported in patients with hip or vertebral fracture.
