Wu MS, et al. - Here, the clinicians intended to test burden and quality of life (QoL) in caregivers of youth with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) enrolled in an intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization program. They observed that caregiver burden did not mediate the association between obsessive-compulsive symptom severity and caregiver QoL. Elucidating factors related to increased caregiver burden and poorer QoL was pertinent for identifying at-risk families and developing targeted interventions.
