Cha SI, et al. - Clinical features, as well as prognostic factors in patients with lung cancer and pulmonary embolism (PE), were determined in this retrospective study. The characteristics of PE concurrent with lung cancer included more severe PE and infrequent small cell carcinoma. In addition, researchers observed that PE concurrent with lung cancer and central emboli may be independent prognostic factors in patients with lung cancer and PE.
