Wan MT, et al. - Researchers focused at identifying the risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in patients with psoriasis compared to adults without psoriasis, stratified by categories of directly assessed body surface area (BSA) affected by psoriasis. Based on the results, it was suggested that clinicians could estimate the BSA affected by psoriasis for targeting the diabetes prevention efforts for patients with psoriasis.
