Snekvik I, et al. - In a large population-based cross-sectional study, researchers assessed the relationship between psoriasis, particularly psoriasis severity, with objectively measured cardiovascular disease risk factors and cardiovascular morbidity. Psoriasis was noted to be positively related to the measures of adiposity, and a clustering of cardiovascular disease risk factors. In cases of individuals with moderate/severe psoriasis, these associations were strongest.
