Indrakusuma R, et al. - A retrospective cohort study was performed focussing on psoas muscle area (PMA) as a prognostic factor for survival in patients with an asymptomatic infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Researchers could not replicate the association between low PMA and poor survival. In this study, low PMA seemed not associated with survival in patients with an asymptomatic AAA.
