Journal of Neuro-Oncology Aug 19, 2017

The present data indicated that pseudoprogression after irradiation was common, particularly in patients with pilocytic astrocytoma, and was related to improved survival. However, knowledge of the incidence and temporal course of pseudoprogression might help avoid unnecessary salvage therapy.
