Protracted febrile myalgia syndrome treated with pulse of corticosteroids

Rom E, et al. - In this study, researchers depicts their 5-year experience treating protracted febrile myalgia syndrome (PFMS) with pulsed doses of corticosteroids. The outcomes of this study revealed that the pulse corticosteroid therapy is effective in alleviating PFMS pain. It does not completely abort a PFMS episode.
