Human Reproduction Nov 12, 2020
Cavoretto PI, Farina A, Miglio R, et al. - Researchers examined whether pulsatility index (UtA-PI) measurements in IVF/ICSI pregnancies with oocyte donation (OD) vs natural conceptions differ in uterine arteries Doppler studies. They conducted prospective, longitudinal matched cohort study in the Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Departments of San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, analyzing 584 Doppler observations obtained from 296 women with different method of conception (OD n = 122; natural conception n = 174). Findings revealed reduced UtA-PI by an average of about 40% in IVF/ICSI pregnancies with OD as compared with pregnancies with natural conception.
