Prospective comparison between magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography in colorectal cancer staging

Koh FHX, et al. – The accuracy of diffusion–weighted (DW)–magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was compared with multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) in staging of colorectal cancer. Results approved that DW–MRI was more accurate for detecting hepatic metastases in colorectal cancer compared with MDCT.
