Ma L, et al. - An investigation was conducted in order to determine if using a ceramide-containing moisturizer in addition to a body wash during latent atopic dermatitis (AD) could delay flares. AD flares were delayed by nearly 2 months with the aid of a regimen incorporating a moisturizer plus body wash compared to body wash alone. This regimen led to a high patient satisfaction.
