Duan L, et al. - The purpose of this study was to evaluate preoperative somatostatin analogs (SSAs) treatment on the surgical outcome in patients with acromegaly. Clinicians exhibited evidence that the long-term preoperative SSAs treatment may enhance the surgical curative rate in acromegalic patients with invasive macroadenomas (Knosp grades 1Â3).
