Hah YM, et al. - The prognostic value of the blink reflex (BR) test in patients with Bell’s palsy (BP) or Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) was assessedl. In patients with BP and RHS, the BR test results were shown to be a good prognostic indicator, along with the electroneurographic findings. Data indicated that absence of the BR was more frequently related to severe residual palsy in RHS than in BP.
