Zheng CF, et al. - This study appraised platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) as a predictor of outcomes in critically ill patients with acute kidney injury (AKI). A U-shaped association of preoperative PLR with survival was highlighted in findings. Overall, the PLR appears to be a novel, independent prognostic marker of outcomes in critically ill patients with AKI.
