Prognostic value of lymphocyte-monocyte ratio at diagnosis in Hodgkin lymphoma: A meta-analysis
BMC Cancer Apr 17, 2019
Lee SF, et al. - Via this meta-analysis of eight studies (all retrospective cohort studies) with 3,319 participants, researchers assessed the link between lymphocyte monocyte ratio (LMR) and survival outcomes in Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) patients. They identified the relevant studies from PUBMED and EMBASE. Overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), event-free survival, lymphoma-specific survival, and time to progression were assessed. In HL, poor OS and PFS were observed in relation to low LMR at diagnosis. In addition, the assessment of LMR is easy and inexpensive. LMR has a potential role in daily clinical management.
