Prognostic value of long non-coding RNA CRNDE in gastrointestinal cancers: A meta-analysis
Cancer Management and Research Jun 27, 2019
He TY, et al. - Via this meta-analysis of nine articles including a total of 1,053 patients, researchers examined how colorectal neoplasia differentially expressed (CRNDE) expression is related to survival or the clinicopathological features of gastrointestinal cancer. The analysis revealed a positive correlation between high CRNDE expression and lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, more advanced tumor-node-metastasis stage, and tumor size >5 cm. Findings also suggested the predictive value of high CRNDE expression for worse histopathological grade and depth of tumor invasion in the non-colorectal cancer subgroup. Findings thereby indicate that CRNDE is valuable as a predictor of prognosis and pathological biomarker in this type of tumors.
