Prognostic value and clinical significance of long noncoding RNA CASC2 in human malignancies: A meta-analysis
Cancer Management and Research Jun 11, 2018
Cai J, et al. - Researchers evaluated the prognostic impact of long noncoding RNA cancer susceptibility candidate 2 (CASC2) on overall survival in patients diagnosed with malignancies. They identified a total of eight studies with 663 cancer patients via searching the available databases up to December 2017. They found an association between the high expression level of CASC2 and favorable survival outcome for cancer patients. A significant link was also evident between glioma tumor stage and CASC2 expression. They also determined the possible utility of CASC2 as a prognostic predictor for cancers.
