Prognostic role of neutrophilâlymphocyte ratio and plateletâlymphocyte ratio for hospital mortality in patients with AECOPD
International Journal of COPD Aug 31, 2017
Yao CY, et al. – The aim of this retrospective study was to discover the potential role of the neutrophilÂlymphocyte ratio (NLR) and plateletÂlymphocyte ratio (PLR) as prognostic markers for hospital mortality in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). The findings demonstrated that NLR and PLR levels were increased in non–survivor patients with AECOPD, and the NLR could be simple and useful prognostic marker for hospital mortality in patients with AECOPD.
