Prognostic relevance of proliferation markers (Ki-67, PHH3) within the cross-relation of ERG translocation and androgen receptor expression in prostate cancer
Pathology Jan 24, 2018
Goltz D, et al. - Herein, experts coveted an exploration of the role of mitosis-associated marker phosphorylated histone H3 (PHH3) and Ki-67 in the prognosis of prostate cancer in terms of ERG status and androgen receptor (AR) expression. The adverse outcome of prostate cancer was speculated via the proliferation markers PHH3 and Ki-67. They displayed a particularly prominent prognostic value in specific molecular subsets of prostate cancer (ERG- or androgen receptor (AR)+).
