Chamaria S, et al. - This study involves a comparison of long-term outcomes between patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with varying severity of diabetes mellitus (DM) with and without chronic kidney disease (CKD). Findings demonstrated that a group with substantial risk for death or MI at one year was identified by the requirement for insulin in the setting of DM, regardless of renal status.
